My MacBook has supposedly just arrived at the FedEx location in Anchorage. Wonder how fast their planes fly, and if it will make it to Huntsville by tomorrow?

The combination of a bonus at work, plus a recent kernel panic on my aging TiBook, are the signs I was looking for that it’s time to upgrade to one of the new Apple MacBooks. I placed the order this morning and am now counting the days until it arrives.

No, this isn’t a Typo blog. My ISP doesn’t quite have their act together on the FastCGI front, and it looks as if that’s been a problem for months now. So I instead went with the path of least resistance, which was to install WordPress and import my old Blogger articles. So there!

To give you some idea of how little we’ve been using our Windows-based desktop PC since we switched to Apple notebooks (my PowerBook and Denise’s iBook), I found cobwebs inside the PC’s case last night when I opened it up to replace the dead CD-ROM drive.
