Yahoo! Widgets

Yes, I know that Mac OS X Tiger users have had Dashboard for a while now, but this looks pretty sweet to those of us stuck using Windows at work. I have yet to read about Yahoo! Go but it sounds promising, too.

    I’ve been hacking around with Konfabulator (the previous name until Yahoo Global Branding(tm) got a hold of things) , trying out various schemes for Ruby integration. Very slick.

    But Windows users have had the option of using Active Desktop and ActiveX widgets for some time now. Never seemed to take off, though.
